Fiber-optic unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is a UAV system which realizes control and data transmission through fiber optic cables. It has significant advantages such as anti-interference, concealment and data transmission stability.
Working principle of fiber optic UAV:
Fiber-optic UAV connects UAV and ground control station through fiber optic to realize bidirectional high-speed data transmission and real-time control.Compared with traditional radio controlled UAV, fiber optic UAV has significant advantages in anti-jamming ability and data transmission stability. The basic principle is to reconstruct the communication link of UAV by using the high bandwidth and anti-jamming characteristics of optical signal.

Technological superiority
Anti-interference capability: fiber transmission is not affected by electromagnetic interference and can maintain stable communication in complex battlefield environments. During the flight of the fiber optic drone, the fiber optic reel at the tail releases the fiber optic cable, which is connected to the drone operator.
Unlike traditional four-axis drones, which rely on high-frequency radio links to transmit first-person view (FPV) video streams, fibre-optic drones carry a spool of 20 kilometers of fiber optic.During the flight, the cable is continuously deployed to maintain a physical connection with the operator, and since the video signal is transmitted through fiber optics rather than air, the fiber optic UAV has anti-interference capability.
2, high bandwidth: optical fiber can transmit a large amount of data, support high-definition and even ultra-high-definition video real-time return, improve the combat capability of drones.
3,Concealment: When performing tasks, fiber optic drones can effectively avoid being detected by enemy electronic surveillance systems, enhancing the concealment of operations.
4,Power supply: Some fiber optic systems can also provide power for drones, extending their flight time and combat range.
