Fiber-to-the-antenna (FTTA) is a wireless site architecture where optical fiber is run all the way up the tower to replace those traditionally completed with heavier coax cabling. Important components such as remote radio units (RRUs) are also positioned at the top of the tower instead of that at the base location. FTTA solutions from our company provide cable connectivity and electrical protection for remote radio head (RRH) equipment placed on cellular towers, rooftops, and other structures. Our cable connectivity is mainly about FTTA patch cord which in our selection consists of two single mode fibers. At one end fibers are terminated to IP series waterproof connectors and at the other end are regular connectors compatible with RRU interface such as LC duplex.
We can either provide factory assembled patch cables, or we can offer you connectors for your site's fast installation, we carry IP series, ODVA, OptiTap, H connector, ODC, RDC, AARC, FullAXS, RFE, IP-FX, Mini-SC, PDLC, NSN, and other field tactical connector types.
