The HT403I-R3-SFP series adopts an industrial grade design with a large scale FPGA design and provides 1 serial port, each port supporting RS232/422/485 service interfaces at the same time. This device is the best choice for connecting a remote terminal unit (RTU) to a host computer (HOST) or a distributed data acquisition system (SCADA) controller, and has a high performance to price ratio. The effective communication distance is up to 0-120KM and the serial port can communicate at a rate of 0-500KBPS.
As the HT403I-R3-SFP uses optical fibre as the transmission medium, it can completely avoid the threat of lightning, surges and electromagnetic interference to communication equipment in harsh environments, while eliminating the need to invest in lightning and surge protection equipment when copper wire is originally used.
HT403I-R3-SFP series innovatively adopts SFP pluggable optical port design, users can flexibly choose various forms of optical modules according to the site use requirements, such as single mode/multimode, single fiber/dual fiber, transmission distance support 2KM~120KM, providing convenience for construction sites, ideal for industrial serial networking.
