Introduction

HT102-OAM 10/100/1000M auto negotiation IEEE802.3ah OAM compliant copper to fiber Gigabit Ethernet solution, is the new generation media converter. It can be managed by the standalonebuilt-innetworkmanagementsystem(with console port in each media converter) or  synthetically  managed  by  chassis  network  management  card  (NMS  card,  which  can  be plugged in the 17slot of our HT100-2U-17 series chassis)
 
Themediaconvertercardmodulecanbepluggedinour1-slotchassisor17-slotchassis(2U,19”) and support hot swappable.
 
The  fixed  standalone  type  can  be  used  in  pairs  or  used  with  chassis  media  converter  card module, to be managed by NMS card together.

Auto negotiation among 10Mb, 100Mb and 1000Mb.
Full duplex and half-duplex mode.
Single mode fiber of dual mode fiber optional as well as variety of optical connectors(SC/FC/LC) Digital diagnoses and alarm for remote power-off

IEEE802.3ah OAM
standard function
HT102-OAM  series  has  two  working  modes:  Master  and  Slave. Central Office device works at Master mode, and Customer Premise device  at Slave  mode. The OAM functions are originated by Master device.
Link monitoring
Report local events to remote device, including Critical Event (voltage and  temperature abnormal) and Dying Gasp (power down).
OAM discovery
Check if remote device has implemented/enabled IEEE802.3ah OAM function, and negotiate with remote device
